National Symposium Software Engineering
The Netherlands #sensym

The 12th Dutch national symposium on software engineering (SEN) will be held at CWI, Amsterdam, on Friday, 1 May 2026.

At this symposium we bring together the Dutch software engineering, programming languages, and formal methods community. SEN symposium is organized by VERSEN, the Dutch National Association for Software Engineering. The program will feature keynotes, invited presentations, and contributed “lightning talks”.

Registration is open! Lightning talks can be submitted using Easychair (click here). More information on the program will be made available soon. We already have the following speakers:

  • prof. Jan Friso Groote (Eindhoven University of Technology) will talk about formal methods in light of the 10 year anniversary of VERSEN!
  • Bernard van Gastel (Radboud University) will talk about green software engineering.
  • Ayushi Rastogi (University of Groningen) will talk about human factors in software engineering.
  • Daniel dos Santos (Forescout Technologies Inc.) will talk about software security and the Internet of Things.
